MetaDerby, what kind of game is it? Here is the first free-to-play-and-earn horse racing metaverse.

MetaDerby is a horse racing and breeding inspired metaverse where anyone can earn tokens through skilled gameplay and contribution to building the MetaDerby-verse.

It is interesting to note that horse racing is one of the oldest sports. The object of the game being to determine which horse is the fastest on a given course and this is a principle that dates back to ancient times and has not changed today, only the medium has changed, now you will be able to play on the metaverse, which is sure to be a highlight of the metaverse news this year and in the future.

Arguably, with the possibilities of blockchain, NFT, tokens, and the advent of a global play-to-earn community, it has now been possible to create a metaverse where humans can reconnect with their old friends and celebrate that unique relationship between humans and their horses.

MetaDerby vision:

Each player will be given a horse to ride and explore the metaverse of this game. With your free horse, you will be able to race it, breed it, explore the land, build your own farm, build your own race track, and create your own races with jockeys and even… chariots!

There are already enough barriers to play blockchain games, buying an NFT horse should not be one of them. Every player that takes the time to complete the MetaDerby beginners task, will be given a free NFT horse (we call it “Starter Horse”). A man/woman and a horse, free to explore and build, just like so many stories told in so many cultures passed down through so many generations. This is how we want our story to start too.

MetaDerby is a play-to-earn NFT horse racing metaverse where you can earn tokens and real money with free-to-play features. To maximize earnings in MetaDerby, you can participate in:

1. Horse races
2. Horse Breeding
3. Buying your own land
4. Building on lands to breed unique horses or host races

Tokenomics:

This ecosystem works with two native tokens, you will find a utility token, $HOOF and a governance token, $DBY.

You will also be able to participate in the $DBY staking pool with tiered rewards that vary by blocking period. There will be four blocking periods for selection.
